Spicy Indian Corn Flakes Mixture
Spicy Indian Corn Flakes Mixture or locally called ‘Chivda’ is a snack popular in India (It is simply referred to as Mixture in South India) usually made of corn flakes/flattened rice. These flakes are first deep fried and it is then spiced with masala mix and jazzed up with other ingredients like peanuts, raisins, cashews, roasted curry leaves and red chilli powder etc. Crispy and delicious it is a wonderful tea time snack or also as an appetizer. My favorite combination is to have it with a black tea. The delight of finding those sweet raisins between the spicy mixture in your mouth with mild hot black coffee cannot be expressed in words.
